The Chasing Champions Open isn’t just another competition.
It’s a show created by WA’s strongest men and women.
These are the athletes who have stood on the podium.

And with that comes a privilege: they get to choose the challenge.
Not to make it easy.
Not to make it impossible.
But to create a competition that can inspire a new generation of strongmen and strongwomen to step forward and chase the standard that’s already been set.
Why this comp exists
Because strongman only grows when someone opens the door.
Every champion started somewhere.
Every top athlete was once the person looking at the platform, wondering if they were ready.
The Chasing Champions Open exists to create that opportunity.
This competition is about giving people a reason to start.
A platform to test themselves.
A stage to feel what it’s like to compete.

This is WA’s strongest giving back to the sport by creating something that helps the next wave come through stronger.

Compete Without Limits: Entry Fees Simplified
At WA Strongman, our mission is simple: keep the sport we love accessible for everyone, regardless of experience or background. That’s why we’ve worked hard to ensure that our entry fees are fair and affordable:
💪 Novice Athletes: $55
For those starting their strongman journey, we’re keeping the costs low to help you experience the thrill of competition without breaking the bank.
🌟 Exhibition events: $75
For those vying for a coveted spot on the world stage, we’ve kept our entry fees reasonable so you can focus on showcasing your strength and strategy.
This initiative is part of our commitment to growing the sport and supporting our community. No gimmicks, no barriers—just pure competition and opportunity. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned competitor, we’re here to make strongman more inclusive and accessible for all.
