WA’s Strongest Man & Woman is the Western Australian Strongman State Championship.

Athletes compete across five events for the opportunity to earn the biggest title in Western Australian strongman.

WA’s Strongest Man & Woman 2026 will take place on Saturday, 14 November 2026 at Forrest Place in the Perth CBD.

Final athlete arrival, weigh-in and competition times will be provided in the official athlete information.

Eligible athletes from Western Australia, interstate and overseas are invited to register.

Athletes must meet the requirements of their selected division and agree to the competition rules and registration conditions.

For the first time, WA’s Strongest Man & Woman will welcome eligible athletes from around the world to compete alongside Western Australian and interstate athletes.

Eligible division winners may qualify for Strongman Corporation Heavyweight, lightweight, middleweight, and Masters World Championships held as part of the 2027 Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio.

Qualification is division-specific. The official athlete information will identify which divisions offer qualification opportunities and the conditions that apply.

The competition is limited to 100 athlete positions.

Registrations may close once all available positions have been filled.

You can then select your division, add any optional athlete-media packages, complete your athlete details and finalise payment through the WA Strongman website.

Your position is not secured until payment has been completed.

No. All athlete registrations for WA’s Strongest Man & Woman 2026 are non-refundable.

Once registrations are received, event costs are committed towards competition delivery, athlete shirts, equipment, staffing and the international qualification pathway. For this reason, we are unable to provide refunds if an athlete withdraws or can no longer compete.

We understand that circumstances can change, and we appreciate that this policy may be disappointing. WA Strongman remains committed to making high-level competition as accessible as possible. Registration is $75 AUD, there is no additional membership fee, every registered athlete receives a competition shirt, and eligible athletes have the opportunity to qualify for the Heavyweight, Lightweight, Middleweight or Masters World Championships.

We encourage every athlete to confirm their availability, eligibility and selected division before completing their registration.

Registration transfers may be considered on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed.

Athletes who can no longer compete must contact WA Strongman as soon as possible and provide the full details of the proposed replacement athlete. Any transfer must be approved by the event organisers before it is considered valid.

The replacement athlete must:

• Be eligible for the nominated division

• Complete all required athlete information and waivers

• Agree to the competition rules and policies

• Pay any applicable price difference or administrative costs

Registrations cannot be privately sold, advertised or transferred without approval from WA Strongman.

WA Strongman reserves the right to decline a transfer where it may affect division numbers, qualification opportunities, event administration or the fair delivery of the competition.

Professional event-day media coverage can be added for $50.

A limited number of premium athlete highlight-reel packages will also be available.

The event-day media package provides professional video coverage of the athlete’s performances throughout the competition.

Footage will be organised and delivered digitally following the event.

The premium package turns an athlete’s competition footage into a professionally edited highlight reel.

A limited number of priority edits will be available, with priority reels delivered within seven days of the competition.

Yes. WA’s Strongest Man & Woman 2026 is a free public event, and everyone is welcome to attend.

Athletes are encouraged to bring their friends, families and supporters to experience the competition and cheer them on throughout the day.

The event will also include entertainment and activities between competition events, helping to keep the atmosphere exciting while the competition floor is reset.

No spectator ticket is required.
