Chasing Champions Open

WA’s strongest helped shape this one. The Chasing Champions Open was built with input from WA’s top-tier athletes—they chose the events, they set the standard. This competition is your first chance in 2025 to step into the arena and begin your own journey. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned lifter, this is where champions are made—and challenged.

The Strength Challenge
📍 October 18–19 – Varsity Morley
Three lifts. Three attempts. One goal: lift as heavy as you can.
The Strength Challenge strips Strongman back to its raw essence—Log Press, Deadlift, and Stone Over Bar. With no minimum entry weights and a format inspired by powerlifting, it’s the perfect comp for first-timers wanting to dip their toe into the sport, or veterans looking to test their limits. It’s heavy lifting in front of a massive crowd—don’t miss it.

WA Truck Pull Championships
📍 August 22–23 – Froth Town Festival, Claremont Showgrounds
Bigger. Heavier. Louder. The WA Truck Pull Championships returns to Froth Town for a two-day showcase of raw horsepower and grit. Watch athletes go head-to-head pulling trucks in front of thousands of fans at WA’s most iconic beer and food festival. With non-stop adrenaline and a high-energy crowd, this event is the loudest and wildest in the Strongman calendar.

WA’s Strongest Man & Woman 2025
📍 November 22 – Forrest Place, Perth CBD
The season finale. The title fight. The showdown that crowns the best.
WA’s Strongest Man & Woman takes over the heart of the city for a full-scale spectacle of strength. The biggest names in the sport battle it out for top honours in front of a massive Perth CBD audience. This is the biggest stage, the biggest lifts, and the ultimate proving ground for WA’s elite.
