What is Kilos of Kindness?
WA Strongman proudly presents Kilos of Kindness
a powerful one-day community lift-off where strength meets compassion. On Saturday, August 2nd hosted at Frank’s Gym Perth, lifters of all levels will unite to reach a collective goal of one million kilograms lifted, all in support of a beautiful charity: It’s From Elsie.
This initiative is spearheaded by two incredible community members, Callum Greenall and Josh Scardina, whose shared vision is to lift for something greater than themselves. To lift for love, for stories, and for families in need.
Why We Lift: About It’s From Elsie
It’s From Elsie is a WA-based charity that donates picture books to families with newborns in the NICU. These books give parents a way to connect, comfort, and read to their babies even during the most challenging times.
Last year, Callum raised over $1,000 and donated 136 books to the NICU at Perth Children's Hospital. This year, with our strength community behind him, we aim to double the impact.
All funds raised go directly toward purchasing books, each labelled with an It’s From Elsie sticker and hand-delivered to NICU families.

Meet the Fundraisers
This initiative is driven by two incredibly generous people from our Strongman community. Callum Greenall, who we proudly supported last year for the release of his children's book co-written with World’s Strongest Man, Eddie Hall, brings his heart for storytelling to this cause. He’s joined by one of our most passionate athletes, Josh Scardina, whose energy and dedication to the sport and the people in it is unmatched. Together, they’ve created something truly special.
-
A passionate mental health nurse and published children’s book author, Calum brings storytelling and strength together for a cause close to his heart. Inspired by his daughter and driven by the belief that small gestures can make a big difference, he created this event to help NICU families feel seen, supported, and connected through the magic of picture books.
-
A strongman athlete, proud father of three, and lifelong advocate for children and families. With a background in early childhood education and disability support, Josh brings a deep understanding of the impact hospital stays can have on families. This fundraiser brings together his two great loves lifting and making a difference in the lives of kids.
For the Kids
We’re setting up a special Children’s Lifting Hour with fun, simplified lifts at 12pm. Plus, kids can enjoy a coloring station while the parents have their hand in contributing to the total.
