THE EVENTS

WA’S STRONGEST MAN & WOMAN 2025

Five headline tests of strength. One massive day. These are the events that will decide who wears the crown:

All athletes start at the same opening weight. The bar rises in set increments. One by one, the field thins. In the end, only the strongest presser will remain and WA’s best log lifter will be crowned.

MAX LOG - Rising Bar

Four bars, each loaded with 4WD tyres and each heavier than the last. Athletes must rip through all four in sequence, as fast as possible. It’s not just about who can deadlift the most, it’s about who can keep pace as the weight climbs. Strength, speed, and grit collide. Trust us, this one won’t be easy.

TYRE DEADLIFT LADDER: 4 Bars for Time

Two pillars. One athlete. Your grip is the only thing keeping them from breaking apart. Only the second time this event has ever been seen in WA and the record for the state’s strongest grip is on the line. The longer you hold, the louder the crowd gets.

HERCULES HOLD

MYSTERY EVENT -Sandbag Medley Into Pull

Run, load, and pull but what exactly will you be pulling? That stays under wraps until closer to comp day. All we’ll say is this: you’ll carry the weight of every bag you’ve loaded, and it won’t be easy. The full details to drop soon.

LAST MAN STANDING STONES

The ultimate finale. Athletes load stone after stone, cycling through until only one remains. The strongest in WA will be decided under the roar of the crowd.
