This event is designed for everyone from first-timers to weekend warriors to seasoned amateurs. Whether you’re stepping into the sport for the first time or stepping back in for another hit of adrenaline, this is your chance to be part of something epic.

The CHASING CHAMPIONS OPEN is proudly created by and driven by WA’s Strongest Men and Women. Those who stood tall on the podium at the “WA Strongest Man and Woman 2024”

These Champions have hand-picked every event for this comp, designing a challenge that’s both fun and fierce for athletes of all levels.

WHY?

Because they know: without the next wave of athletes, there is no sport.

This competition is their way of giving back creating a platform for newcomers, dabblers, and rising stars to experience the thrill of strongman. It’s their challenge to the community to rise up, and it’s a reminder that no champion stays safe forever.

And while they might someday regret building the stage for their future rivals…
 They also know that being chased is what makes you better.
 That’s the beauty of this sport and the spirit of this event.

Compete Without Limits: Entry Fees Simplified

At WA Strongman, our mission is simple: keep the sport we love accessible for everyone, regardless of experience or background. That’s why we’ve worked hard to ensure that our entry fees are fair and affordable:

💪 Novice Athletes: $55
For those starting their strongman journey, we’re keeping the costs low to help you experience the thrill of competition without breaking the bank.

🌟 Exhibition events: $75
For those vying for a coveted spot on the world stage, we’ve kept our entry fees reasonable so you can focus on showcasing your strength and strategy.

This initiative is part of our commitment to growing the sport and supporting our community. No gimmicks, no barriers—just pure competition and opportunity. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned competitor, we’re here to make strongman more inclusive and accessible for all.

THE MISSION:

This comp was born from a simple but powerful idea:
WA’s strongest didn’t start at the top. They started by showing up.

The Chasing Champions Open is an open invitation to chase those who’ve stood on the podium before—and maybe one day steal the crown.

We believe everyone deserves a platform to feel strong, to test their grit, and to compete in a space where they’re uplifted by their peers.

  • Athlete Cap: 50 athletes

  • Entry Fee: $55 (includes comp t-shirt)

  • Registration Open: Saturday May 3rd at 12:00 PM

  • Spectators: Free entry – bring your friends, family, and your loudest cheer
